Study at Home for Inner Peace

Meditation for Sensitives (45 min. audio)

Transformation and Inner Peace

Sensitves carry an innate awareness of the subtleties of life, we are gifted with direct knowing, and we understand the languages of energy and telepathy.

We begin to desire some sort of meditation practice when we begin to feel that we have lost our connection to these abilities and to our true selves. When we have gotten far away from our essence and our trust in our true nature, we begin to feel a deep inner tug, which is our essence calling us to remember again who we are.

This inner tug might be felt as an undeniable hunger for soulful things or a passionate determination to develop spiritually.

It might develop in us as an intense longing to connect with god and our divine essence or a need to coccoon and be alone to regain our clarity.

The tug might also be felt as a simple desire for peace and tranquility, a hope for more clarity and inspiration, or a need for truth and answers to a challenging problem.

When we feel these things, we often soon begin to look around for some kind of meditation tools. There are many different schools and philosophies about the "proper" way to meditate and this can be daunting and confusing to try to figure out what is "the right way."

Some feel that sitting is silent meditation at home can help us calm our overworked minds.

Some say that group meditation is best.

Some say that chants or vocalizations are necessary to bring the vibration up.

Some suggest walking meditation.

Then there are guided meditations with visualizations.

Are these practices necessary? After all, sensitives are natural meditators. One of our innate abilities is to observe from a higher vantage point and process that information through our selves, transmuting what is negative and damaging. This ability is designed to help us reach our potential as beacons of love on Earth. Perhaps it is possible to develop this natural tendency to "observe" with our senses and our higher self in tact.
