Dear Sensory-Intelligent Friends,
If lately you have been bound by old triggers, a little more emotional, have been given an opportunity to “let go” of things or people, or generally feel a quietness about you, April has been giving you a time for clearing out the old and releasing feelings that have burdened you. The earth is ‘shifting’ at the seams in places, and sensitives all over the planet might be feeling the aftermath of distant emotional and structural crisis inside their own hearts and minds. But from cracks and fissures grow flowers and May carries energies to deliver a new level of “I can” to us all once again. I do believe that overall, the tide of Love energy is rising in the world. Can you feel it too? I am convinced that embodying this Love is what sensitives are called to do to help heal and restore the planet and its inhabitants. In future newsletters I will be sharing what I see and sense about our larger mission, as we make up a critical percentage of the population. Our preferences for silent times, nature, pure & innocent pleasures, creative endeavors and our gift of keen perception ultimately will force each one of us to clear the clutter of the world from our minds, bodies and spirits. The pure vessels that remain will be able to perceive and carry a higher resonance that is effervescent Love, overflowing through us and spilling out to the world as a simple pure presence. I also hope to be doing some instructional videos for creating your own heaven on earth by developing inner peace on YouTube and you will be first to know when they are up. (Remember I offer an inner peace e-coaching series as well.) For now I am just listening to the guidance within, to nature and the signs in the world at large to see what they herald or all of us as a collective. One last note about any personal struggles you may be dealing with today. There is no denying that life on Earth hurts sometimes, and that life’s circumstances can feel raw and unforgiving, but remember that each time you stumble, you are stumbling on the surface of something very immense and benevolent that is your foundation. That foundation is the Divinity that is your life force, which gets fed when you express your truest and highest self. If you stay rooted in that Divinity, you can stand firm as you flick the hurts off the surface. You can more easily steer away from what feels bad to you, and over time, you can allow yourself to be filled with peace. When you are full of this peace, you will naturally see that the circumstances of life don’t shake you like they used to. And when raw and unforgiving circumstances do arise, which they always will, you be able to hold a presence of peace around them until they change or dissipate. This spring, stay rooted and keep rooting for your deepest truth and beauty to reveal itself to the world in unimaginable ways. Thank you for tuning in and growing with me for yet another season. This Issue’s Healing Tool:
Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT)
Purpose: For clearing emotional pain, traumatic flashbacks, anxiety triggers, and unwanted mental images in 2-3 minutes. Millions of people suffer from troubling thoughts, deep-rooted fears, emotional triggers, unhappy memories or visual flashbacks that control their lives. Recently there has been a technique developed to douse those bad feelings for good, in just a few minutes. To learn how to use this technique, view the video linked below. I have personally used it for my own clearing and healing, as well as for my clients, with remarkable results. TAT Technique Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=793ZMpkFh7g&feature=related The nice thing about this technique (other than it being fast) is there’s no need to envision healing or "do" anything but envision and feel what is not wanted. And we know how easy it is to think about what we don’t want, right? How it works: Just think of any memories or experiences that bring you stress, anxiety, discomfort or shame - bring the memories and thoughts to mind as you do this technique and your body will clear or reduce your negative emotional connection to them in the span of a few minutes. The memories will still be there, but with no harmful emotional pull. Important note: It is not recommended to do this technique more than 15-20 minutes a day. There is more information on YouTube about how this technique is used to help combat veterans with PTSD, which is very interesting.
Exercising that “Expansive Mind”… It doesn’t seem fair. We as very sensitive people are continuously challenged to change and grow with seemingly little reward, where it seems like others coast along in ignorant bliss. While most of the time we trek along without much complaint, sometimes we as sensitives can tend to get tired of waiting for our day to come. After all, don’t we do our best to use every challenge to learn, grow and heal? Just when it seems like we are moving up the ladder and have reached a pinnacle, a new climb awaits around the corner. With all the progress we make, it never seems to get really easy. I mean, where is the relief? The truth is, our hearts are soft and constantly tested. However, there IS relief. By seeing our keen sensitivity through a more expansive mind it is much easier to live very contentedly and in fact quite joyfully. An expansive mind is curious and courageous. It doesn’t want to belong. It wants to be TRUE. It knows when to walk away from what is harmful and to do it with grace and love. The expansive mind is in all of us, but it has to be exercised before it can become automatic. The world has taught us all about the limited mind, which focuses on hurts, losses, frustrations and limitations. The expansive mind is something to be discovered anew with each life situation, each conversation, each loss and each heartbreak. At one time or another most of us have worn our sufferings like a badge of martyrdom. But the time for that has passed. Today is a new day for sensitives. We are gifted with rare abilities that help, heal, and challenge the world to “wake up.” We will do this only when we have helped ourselves, healed ourselves and become awakened first. And we can’t do that without exercising the expansive mind. High sensitivity isn’t fair. But it is rare. And rare things can be oh so precious. With unwavering determination, you as one of these rare beings can affect shifts in the world’s consciousness towards a higher and broader experience of Love.
Getting Down to the DNA of It An area of study called epigenetics is exploring the ways genes express themselves and how they are actually changeable. This fairly new frontier of genetic exploration is interesting because it appears science is coming to prove what the wisest few have known for centuries -- that life is fully within our ability to change and heal, down to our own DNA. Sometimes people in families with certain genetic traits often view themselves as fated to inherit those traits, such as diabetes, heart problems, or some areas of weakness which are passed along through generations. Biologists are currently exploring ways in which non-genetic factors, such as the types of environments we are exposed to, and long-held mindsets, have long-term effects on the way genes behave. What is clear is that we are not limited by the DNA we inherit. The DNA of the families we are born into is at least partly a reflection of the generationally inherited patterns of thinking that we enter this life with. If we begin to observe our thought patterns and learn where they have come from, we can literally train our DNA to behave differently. What would happen to your looks, your health, your relationships, your career and your financial status if you were to pluck the unwanted beliefs from your mind and insert new ones? When core beliefs are changed, new connections are established between synapses, changing the physiology of the brain. As new mind-sets form, it seems, genes are actually being re-trained.
